A good Business Plan ought to show people, potential investors, officers and partners, that there is a market for the specific business the plan is about.
A good business plan ought to summarise and highlight the conclusion of whatever research was conducted to convince everyone considering to get involved that it is worth their time. Further, it ought to outline how indeed it will ensure that there is a market for it's products and services. read more
In my opinion, I would have to say the Forex spot market due to minimum barrier to entry, minimum transaction costs (especially if you're dealing with brokers who allow minimal trade size and thus), no one holds an 'insider' advantage (at least for the long term) and everybody is relatively evenly matched terms of access to information, and anybody can avail themselves to any type of strategy big or small. Overall, it is an efficient market.read more
Important sections for a business plan? I would say...1. Research and Marketing Strategy

I suppose it depends on the business. However, I don't necessarily think so. If you happen to have a family who feels the same way you do about the same business them that's great, you should do business with them. The reality for most families though is that they are not really passionate about the same things. read more
Equity: Ownership of the company. If you don't have money and you want someone to take a risk with you at the start of your new venture, the only thing that makes sense to me is equity. You give them a percentage of the company. If you want and expect that person to work as hard as you do, then give him/her equal percentage: 50% if there's two of you, 33% of there's 3 of you, 25%if there's four, etc.read more

It is your misunderstanding of what Science is that is keeping you stuck. Atheists like myself understand that Science is fallible. Scientists themselves understand that Science is fallible. That is why they keep experimenting and experimenting. They're always arguing and disputing previous theories to keep testing that previous studies came up with correct conclusions. So when you see that, that is a sign that there is healthy science going on.read more
There is a very important issue ‘invading' our schools at the moment: The National School Chaplaincy Program. It is important because it borders the separation between Church and State. Every parent who has a child in school will certainly have heard, or will hear, of it. In this article, I am going to briefly introduce the nature of this program and mention some numbers to illustrate the type of investment that we, as tax payers, have provided to the program. Thereafter, we will discuss whether this Program should continue or not.read more
On Australia Day, 26th of January 2010, I joined a gathering among other Victorians to protest against the tactics used by religious organisations, specifically Catch The Fire Ministries in using scare tactics, instead of rational debate to discuss the issues that plague us today. When I was thirteen years of age, my family migrated to Australia. I liked the fact that Australia was secular. Religion seemed to play little role in politics and in people's lives in general. In the years that followed, Australia continued to remain secular and as far as I was aware, religion did not play a major part in politics. I was always confident that other people's beliefs would never affect me, confident that religion will continue to remain separate from the laws of the land that ruled me and so many Australians. Now, I am no longer sure.
Overseas, there has been a worrying trend…read more
It has always been proposed by the religious that without religion, humanity will succumb to chaos and destruction. In a lecture organised by The Atheist Society in the Unitarian Church in Melbourne on the 8th of March 2011, I argued that religion is taking undue credit for something that is naturally human. To argue my point, I take us back to envision ancient societies, discussing the Golden Rule, and three universal truths of human nature that allow, force and pressure us to behave. These three universal truths predispose human beings to be moral. Watch the video >>read more
On the 24th of November 2008, the U.N. passed a draft resolution against blasphemy. On Thursday, 26th of March, it was passed as a 'non-binding' resolution: a step closer to being a binding resolution. In this article, Marquez Comelab, author of The Tyranny Of God, asks who really needs protection from whom? This is not about protecting people from other people. This is about taking away our right to think for ourselves and to speak our minds.
Article was published in the International Humanist News (UK), May 2009 Edition. read more
People have preconceived misconceptions about trading, investing and money in general. This is an entire topic on its own but this week, I set my focus on addressing the type of returns one can expect to achieve by trading the markets. Hopefully, I can help some people understand the power of small consistent returns over time. For many, a great rate of return means multiplying your money at least ten times instantly. It is usually the type of windfall gains that people associate to winning the lottery or winning in the casino. Marquez believes that if applied to the market, these kinds of…read more
