Does it make sense that I believe in God but I don't have a religion?

Context of Question
I believe in God and Jesus Christ but I don't consider myself a Christian. I don't go to church,I don't pray, and I don't read the bible. I believe that something created us and we didn't just show up on earth. Religion and spirituality are not important in my life. What am I considered to be?

Answer

If you believe that Jesus rose from the dead, and that he is God, and God created everything then you are a Christian. That's what differentiates Christians from the rest.

The fact that you do not read your Bible would, in my eyes, make you a lazy Christian, but you're still a Christian.

Do you have a different answer that might help the questioner? How would you answer this question?
